Jowar Khichdi

Millets are ancient super grains that have long been a part of Indian food culture. Jowar or Sorghum is one such millet commonly used in flour form to prepare bhakris.

Today I am sharing a super easy and delicious Jowar Khichdi Recipe using Whole Jowar which can be a snack, breakfast dish or a tiffin treat.

Try this wholesome recipe for it’s quick to rustle up, has good fibre content, and is diabetic friendly. Further addition of vegetables in the preparation of this Khichdi makes a balanced and yummy dish.

Sabudana (Sago Pearls) Khichdi is a family favorite breakfast but recently I tried replacing Sago with Jowar and it was such a smooth substitute.

Jowar is far more healthy in comparison to Sabudana, Jowar aids weight loss while Sabudana is full of starch.
